Easter 2026 at Pantokrator Monastery

During Holy Pascha of the year 2026, the Pantokrator Monastery on Mount Athos celebrated the Resurrection of the Lord with reverence and spiritual joy, in accordance with the Athonite tradition.

Due to the ongoing restoration works in the katholikon of the monastery, the Resurrection Service was held in the Chapel of Saint George, where the brotherhood gathered in prayer.

At midnight, the joyful proclamation “Christ is Risen” resounded, filling the space with the light of the Resurrection and the hope of life.

The feast of Pascha stands at the center of ecclesiastical life and calls the faithful to participate in the mystery of the Resurrection.
