Easter 2025 at Pantokrator Monastery

During Holy Pascha of the year 2025, the Holy Monastery of Pantokrator on Mount Athos celebrated the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with solemnity and spiritual joy, according to the sacred Athonite tradition.

The divine services of Holy Week culminated in the Resurrection Service, which was celebrated with reverence and compunction in the Katholikon of the monastery, in the presence of the brotherhood and pilgrims.

At the midnight hour, the joyful proclamation of “Christ is Risen” resounded, filling the church and the courtyard with the light of the Resurrection and the hope of eternal life.

The feast of Pascha stands at the center of the liturgical life of the Church, bearing witness to the victory of life over death and inviting all the faithful to partake in the joy of the Resurrection.
